makeovers

I used to really love to watch makeovers on TV. There used to be a show called "Ambush Makeover" I forget what channel had it on, I'm thinking upn or something. It was on a few years back came on during the day, it was a half hour show they did two makeovers, 15 mins each and they had 2-3 hours to makeover someone. They would literally 'ambush' someone on the street in Chicago, or LA... wherever, and give them a new outfit, new hair, new make up. and then the cameras would follow them when they would be finished and would be on their way to meet someone later for dinner or whatever.
Now, there's "Take Home Chef" with the "dreamy" chef __ what's his name? An Aussie who moved to England and worked in London a bit, now is doing this show for TLC in L.A.
ambush... surprise... makeovers. oh what fun.
